The City Girls are back in the studio: “Album On The Way”

Rap’s favorite girl group has some new music on the way.

Always surf on the success of “Twerkulator”, JT and Yung Miami are competing for Song of the Summer. In June, the two performed the hit at the BET’s Awards despite a backstage wardrobe coup that almost prevented them from taking the stage.

BThe other girls shared studio snaps on their Instagram Stories on Wednesday, with Yung Miami adding the caption “album on the way.” In a new post of the photos from TheShadeRoom, a fan joked, “Yachty has to write another hit for girls,” referring to the revelation that Rapper Lil Yachty wrote the duo’s viral anthem “Act Up”. The City Girls were asked about Yachty’s role in the hit earlier this month on Real 92.3 Home radio corn hard at work today, the two do not have time for the past and declined to comment.

The duo have been a constant source of curiosity for the media loving audience, ever since Drake’s subtle JT flex on “In My Feelings”. More recently, however, it’s Lil Uzi who has made JT headlines, while Yung Miami has his own antics.

This new album will be the City Girls’ fourth full project after their 2020 album City locked.
