Spiritualized announces ninth studio album, shares new song

The spiritualized are back. The group has announced their intention to release, Everything was beautiful, their ninth studio album on February 25, 2022.

Continued from 2018 And nothing wrong, which was supposed to be Spiritualized’s last album, Everything was beautiful is available for pre-order in different box sizes and on light pink vinyl. Today the band released the first track from the record “Always Together With You”.

Like a flower that blooms in time-lapse, “Always Together With You” is the epitome of a spiritualized track and something longtime fans of the band will appreciate. The song is a revamp of a track originally released for demo in 2014.

“There was so much information about it that even the slightest movement would throw it off balance, but going in circles is important to me,” leader J Spaceman said in a statement. “It’s not like you’re getting out of hand, but you go around in circles and with every revolution you hold on to the right one every time. Of course you also make mistakes, but you also hang on to them and that’s how you… sort of succeed. Well, you get there.

Spaceman played 16 different instruments on Everything was beautiful who followed in 11 different studios, as well as at home. He has also employed more than 30 musicians and singers, including his daughter Poppy, longtime collaborator and friend John Coxon, strings and brass sections, choirs and bells and chimes of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry.
