Rosalia Motomami’s third album: Teaser, Singles

Let the countdown begin! Spanish singer Rosalía has finally announced her third studio album, Motomami, with a naughty teaser on the theme of butterflies. The Grammy-winning singer posted the video on her Instagram and Twitter accounts with the caption “Quince soon,” and noted that the album would be released in 2022.

In just seventeen seconds, we see Rosalía quickly intermingle between two contrasting backgrounds. The first is an all-white ensemble with a butterfly overlay, which she scrolls through wearing black stilettos. The second is a black background on which she dances in front, covered in red sequins from head to toe. As the striking images turn around, a preview of the album’s potential title track “Motomami” plays in the background.

This album comes after a four-year hiatus, following the 2018 release of its breakthrough record El Mar Querer. The 11-track album won her four Latin Grammy Awards for “Album of the Year,” “Best Record Set,” “Best Engineering Album,” and “Best Contemporary Album” in 2019. The following winter El Mar Querer also won an American Grammy in the category “Best Latin or Alternative Rock Album”.

Since then, Rosalía has released many popular singles, all of which have received critical acclaim and millions of streams around the world. After the song “TKN with Travis Scott” went viral on TikTok, the singer has become a fan favorite for anyone who enjoys dance beats and catchy tunes.

With her booming musical career, Rosalía has teamed up with Mac Cosmetics also. Last month, she announced a collaboration with the makeup line, which is currently in stores and available for purchase. The “Auie Cuture” collection emulates her “natural glam” performance look with a range of red hued lipsticks, shimmering eyeshadows and shiny nail polishes to choose from.

While we may not have a release date for Motomami for now, at least, we can channel the cool and effortless vibe of Spanish female singers with its new products. While waiting for updates, find his last three albums on all streaming platforms and watch the full teaser of Motomami below.
