Julian Lennon releases two new singles

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Julian Lennon has released two new songs from his upcoming 7th studio album JUDE. “Every Little Moment” and “Freedom” are now available on all streaming platforms.

“Every Little Moment” and “Freedom” reflect the collective anxiety felt during a time of uncertainty. Although the writing began several years ago, the tracks are relevant in today’s world and provide a sense of peaceful comfort to help listeners feel less alone.

Hope was the overriding theme when Lennon first publicly performed his father’s iconic song, “Imagine,” during the Global Citizen Stand Up for Ukraine! Social media rally. The campaign raised 10.1 billion euros for aid to Ukraine.

Lennon says, “The war on Ukraine is an unimaginable tragedy…As a human being and as an artist, I felt compelled to respond in the most meaningful way possible. So, for the very first time, I publicly presented my Daddy’s song, ‘IMAGINE’.

Why now, after all these years? – I always said that the only time I would consider singing ‘IMAGINE’ would be if it was the ‘End of the World’…

But also because his words reflect our collective desire for peace in the world. Because in this song, we are transported to a space where love and unity become our reality, if only for a moment…

The song reflects the light at the end of the tunnel, which we all hope…

Due to the ongoing deadly violence, millions of innocent families have been forced from the comforts of their homes to seek refuge elsewhere.

I call on world leaders and all who believe in the sentiment of “IMAGINE” to stand up for refugees everywhere!

Please plead and donate from the bottom of your heart. #StandUpForUkraine”

The stunning performance, alongside Grammy-nominated multi-platinum artist Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme, Rihanna), can be viewed here.

Lennon and Justin Clayton share the production of JUDE, which will be released later this year.
