SEOUL, April 26 (Korea Bizwire)Singer-rapper Psy has co-produced the title track of his upcoming ninth album “Psy 9th” with K-pop supergroup BTS’ Suga, agency Psy announced on Tuesday.

Suga also took part in writing the lyrics, composing and arranging “That That”, according to P Nation.

“At first, I was very nervous because he’s been my senior for many years and someone who is so respected in the business,” Suga said in a short interview about their collaboration, which Psy posted in line.

“But I wanted to work with a childhood friend, so it made the writing process all the more fun. We kind of became best friends.

In response, Psy said, “If he considers me a best friend, that’s great for me.”

He said that when he meets young artists, he still doesn’t want to make them feel uncomfortable and difficult to approach.

“Suga was not only my junior in the company, but he also really feels like a friend. It was hard to feel an age gap,” he added.

The 12-track album hits music stores Friday at 6 p.m. to become Psy’s first release since her eighth full-length album in May 2017. The upcoming LP features top vocalists, such as Sung Si-kyung, Heize , Crush, Tablo and Hwasa from girl group Mamamoo.
