Beach House has announced their upcoming studio album, Once twice melody, which will be released on February 18, 2022 via Sub-pop. As part of the announcement, they shared the first four songs from the album.
Today we have “Superstar”, “Pink Funeral”, “Through Me” and the title song. The first four tracks from the Baltimore duo’s album channel their quintessential heavenly sound. Most of the tunes revolve around sparkling melodies and ethereal organs. “Superstar” is a big booth, with a darker sound than the rest.
Once twice melody will be published in the chapters preceding its release date. The second chapter, which will contain tracks 5 to 8, will be released on December 8. Comprised of 18 tracks, the new album is sure to be packed with all the dream pop you could ask for.

The next album marks Beach House’s first record produced entirely by themselves. It also includes a live string ensemble and arrangements by Dave Campbell. Alan Moulder mixed the album with Caesar Edmunds, Trevor Spencer and Dave Fridmann.
Once twice melody serves as a follow-up to that of 2018 7. Chapter two released on December 8, Chapter three released on January 19, and the full album released on February 18.
Learn more about Beach House:
In April, Beach House made its comeback with “Marin’s Dreams”. Video for the track was released for Meow Wolf’s Omega market exposure.
The seven minute video was inspired by the installation of the Las Vegas supermarket. The 52,000 square foot exhibit was held in person at AREA15. The video tells the fictional story of the missing granddaughter of the imaginary CEO of Omega Mart. It is punctuated by the signature shoegazy sound of Beach House.
